Farsi edition of Tactical Performance: The Theory and Practice of Serious Play, published by Gereh Press in Tehran, October 2025.

In October 2025, a Farsi translation of my book Tactical Performance: The Theory and Practice of Serious Play was published in Iran by Gereh Press in Tehran.

The translation was created by two Iranian feminist theatre scholars and activists, Sara Gholami and Sara Boroumandi, who are currently completing their PhDs in the UK. It has been especially meaningful to know that the book is reaching like-minded artists, scholars, and activists in Iran.

I also had the pleasure of helping design this edition’s cover, which came out beautifully.

I’m very grateful to everyone who helped bring this translation into the world.
