L.M. Bogad on Gómez-Peña’s Mex Files

Earlier this year, I joined my longtime friend and collaborator Guillermo Gómez-Peña and the Mex Files crew for the episode “What’s on My Mind Lately,” part of the multilingual radio and audio-art program produced by Lumpen Radio and La Pocha Nostra.

The episode brings together artists reflecting on the state of the world, their own lives, radical spirituality, uncompromising humor, and activist poetics. I joined Marcelle Marais and Carlos Manuel Rivera as guest artists contributing sounds, poems, and irreverent ideas to the conversation.

It was a blast to take part alongside such terrific artists, and I’m very glad the episode is now out in the world.
